Labadi Beach
The busiest beach in Accra, and busiest is rather the point in December.
La Pleasure Beach is where the city goes at the weekend: horses, drumming, food stalls, sound systems and a great many people. In December it is at full volume.
It is not a quiet beach and it is not trying to be. If you want quiet, the beaches further east past Prampram are a better use of a day. If you want to see Accra enjoying itself, come here on a Sunday afternoon.
